The work performed by our students enables our community partners to move from the planning and conceptual stages of a project toward detailed design and construction. Students benefit from the opportunity to work on realistic design problems characterized by real-world constraints.

To successfully complete the projects, students develop and demonstrate teamwork skills such as individual accountability, cooperation, communication, conflict resolution and leadership. Our students express a high degree of satisfaction in designing infrastructure solutions that will impact the everyday lives of the people who live in these communities.
