Biography

Timothy Truster joined the University of Tennessee as an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the fall of 2013. During his graduate studies at the University of Illinois, he was the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and a best poster award from the United States Association for Computational Mechanics. Truster’s area of specialization is Structures with an emphasis on the development of computational techniques for the modeling of advanced materials. Truster is a registered professional engineer in the State of Tennessee.
