The Tickle College of Engineering expanded “Boo in the Courtyard” festivities with the addition of an Office Decorating Contest, complete with special prizes for the site-based décor efforts. The theme was “At the Movies,” and CEE won first prize with its multi-room “Clue” décor. Department Head Chris Cox portrayed “Professor Plum in the Library,” and something terrible befell Col. Mustard in the conservatory.
For the Office Decorating Contest, votes were cast in five categories: creativity, best fit to the theme, originality, most Halloween spirit, and best participation. CEE won first place in each category and received the most overall votes.
The winners were announced during the college’s annual “Boo in the Courtyard” costume contest, where the department dressed up as “Teen Wolf” and reenacted a basketball game scene from the movie.
